Section 45(2) of the The Municipal Elections Act, 1996, as amended, states: "In establishing the locations of voting places, the clerk shall ensure that each voting place is accessible to electors with disabilities." All voting locations in Oakville will be physically accessible.
All advance voting locations (advance voting dates and times) will be physically accessible and equipped with accessible voting equipment to consider the needs of electors whose mobility is impaired by disability or some other cause.
On voting day (October 25, 2010) a central voting location will be available at Town Hall (1225 Trafalgar Road) that will be equipped with accessible voting equipment.
