Oakville Recreational Hockey League (ORHL)

The Oakville Recreational Hockey League (ORHL) is the town’s adult hockey league that runs out of the state-of-the-art Sixteen Mile Sports Complex.

ORHL leagues

All leagues run with certified referees and offer 14-18 guaranteed games (depending on the night). Teams wishing to join a league should register with a minimum of 15 players, including a goalie. Individual players may also join the league and will be slotted within a team or combined into a team based on registration numbers and openings. Team jerseys will be provided to all registered players.

Developmental
The Developmental League is suitable for players that are brand new to hockey or just looking to get back on their skates in a low-competitive league. Team registrations will not be available in this division.

Start date is Monday, April 30, 8:45-11 p.m. Individual registration fees are $250.

Recreational
The Recreational League is geared toward players who have played at the house league level and are looking to stay fit and have fun while enjoying the game of hockey.

Start date is Wednesday, April 25 or Friday, April 27, 8:45-11 p.m. Indivdual registration fees are $310 and team registration fees are $4,200 for Wednesdays. On Fridays, individual registration fees are $200 and team registration fees are $2,700.

Intermediate
The Intermediate League is geared toward players with hockey experience who have played at a competitive level in the past. This league is faster-paced for the player looking to stay active in hockey while enjoying competition against talented opponents. This division will be tiered depending on the number of teams and skill level.

Start date is Thursday, April 26, 8:45-11 p.m. Individual registration fees are $310 and team registration fees are $4,200.

Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame League is geared toward players 40 years of age and older looking to stay fit, active and play against players with similar experience.

Start date is Wednesday, April 25, 8:45-11 p.m. Individual registration fees are $310 and team registration fees are $4,200.

Women's Division
The Women's Division is divided into two separate leagues based on the skill level of the registered players. There is a competitive tier for women who have played at the competitive level and a recreational tier for women who are new to hockey or with little experience who are looking to have fun while developing their skills.

Start date is Tuesday, April 24, 8:45-11 p.m. Individual registration fees are $310 and team registration fees are $4,200.
