Oakville Recreational Hockey League (ORHL)

The Oakville Recreational Hockey League (ORHL) is the town’s adult hockey league that runs out of the state-of-the-art Sixteen Mile Sports Complex.

ORHL leagues

All leagues run with certified referees and offer 14-18 guaranteed games (depending on the night). Teams wishing to join a league should register with a minimum of 15 players, including a goalie. Individual players may also join the league and will be slotted within a team or combined into a team based on registration numbers and openings. Team jerseys will be provided to all registered players.

All prices include HST and there is an additional $11.30 non-resident fee that applies to individual registrations for participants that do not live in Oakville.

Developmental

The Developmental League is suitable for players that are brand new to hockey or just looking to get back on their skates in a low-competitive league. Team registrations will not be available in this division. Start date is Monday, April 29, 8-11 p.m. Individual registration fees are $265.

Recreational

The Recreational League is geared toward players who have played at the house league level in the past and are looking to stay fit and have fun while enjoying the game of hockey. Three times are available:

  • Monday, 8-11 p.m., starts April 29. Individual registration fees are $265, or register as a team for $3,430.
  • Wednesday, 7-11 p.m., starts April 24. Individual registration fees are $325, or register as a team for $4,410.
  • Friday, 8-11 p.m., starts April 26. Individual registration fees are $210, or register as a team for $2,835.

Intermediate

The Intermediate League is geared toward players with hockey experience who have played at a competitive level in the past. This league is faster-paced for the player looking to stay active in hockey while enjoying competition against talented opponents. This division will be tiered depending on the number of teams and skill level. Start date is Thursday, April 25, 8-11 p.m. Individual registration fees are $325, or register as a team for $4,410.

35+ Intermediate

The 35+ Intermediate League is geared toward players 35 years and older, looking to play a faster paced game against players similar in age while enjoying competition against talented opponents. Start date is Thursday, April 25, 8-11 p.m. Individual registration fees are $325, or register as a team for $4,410.

Women's Competitive

The Women's Competitive League is for women who have played hockey at a competitive level before and are looking to have fun while competing against women with similar skills. This division can be tiered based on registration. Start date is Tuesday, April 23, 8-11 p.m. Individual registration fees are $325, register as a team for $4,410.

Women's Recreational

The Women's Recreational League is for women that are looking for a low-competitive environment. Fair play and fun are emphasized at this level. Start date is Tuesday, April 23, 8-11 p.m. Individual registration fees are $325, or register as a team for $4,410.

Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame League is geared toward players 40 years of age and older looking to stay fit, active and play against players with similar experience. Start date is Wednesday, April 24, 7-11 p.m. Individual registration fees are $325, or register as a team for $4,410.
