The Town of Oakville offers a wide variety of fitness, recreational and cultural activities for residents ages 50+. Recreational opportunities are available at five facilities. Want to get involved? We're always looking for volunteers to help out around the centres and at special events.

Kerr Street Christmas Market - November 24
Oakville Seniors Centre will host the final seniors' bazaar of the season from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 24. Browse a wide selection of unique gifts and Christmas crafts, then relax with refreshments and friends to start the holidays right.
Tour of Lights Party - December 10
Join us for the 44th annual Tour of Lights. Enjoy a bus tour to take in the festive displays around town and then wrap the evening up with a celebration at Town Hall. Tickets are now available at all seniors' centre locations except River Oaks Community Centre. Spaces are limited and restricted to senior residents of Oakville. Limit of two tickets per person. Please contact your local seniors' centre for more information.
Holiday hours – December 24 to 31
The seniors centres will be closed from noon on December 24 to 27 inclusive. Oakville Seniors Centre will be open December 30 and Sir John Colborne will be open December 31.
Spectacular Showcase – December 28 and 29
The Spectacular Showcase returns on Saturday, December 28 (7 p.m.) and Sunday, December 29 (2 p.m.) at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre. Tickets for this high-energy cabaret style show are just $20 each and are on sale now! For tickets, or further information, please call:

A membership with Seniors Services allows you to participate in all our programs, drop-in activities and special events (additional fees apply per activity, program or event). Membership prices are as follows:
- $34 (ages 50-79)
- $17 (ages 80-89)
- $0 (ages 90+)
Where to get a membership
Memberships can be purchased in person Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., at the Oakville Seniors Centre, Sir John Colborne Centre, or Town Hall.
Memberships can also be purchased at the Queen Elizabeth Park Older Adults Centre Monday to Friday, between 1-4 p.m., and the Iroquois Ridge Older Adults Centre during specific times. Please call 905-845-6601 ext. 3745 for more details.
