Seniors
The Town of Oakville offers a wide variety of fitness, recreational and cultural activities for residents aged 50+. Recreational opportunities are available at five facilities:
- Iroquois Ridge Older Adults Centre
- Oakville Senior Citizens' Recreation Centre
- Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre
- River Oaks Mature Adults Club
- Sir John Colborne Recreation Centre for Seniors

Membership prices
A membership with Seniors Services allows you to participate in all our programs, drop-in activities and special events (additional fees apply per activity, program or event). Membership prices are as follows:
- $33 (50-79 years)
- $16.50 (80-89 years)
- $0 (over 90 years)
Where to get a membership
Memberships can be purchased in person 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, at the Oakville Seniors Centre (263 Kerr Street), Sir John Colborne Centre (1565 Old Lakeshore Road West), or Town Hall (1225 Trafalgar Road).
Memberships can also be purchased at the Iroquois Ridge Older Adults Centre (1051 Glenashton Road) during specific times. Please call 905-845-6601, ext. 3745 for more details.
Online registration for programs is available through IRIS. Please ensure your membership is up-to-date before registering.
