T.A.L.K. (Teaching Adolescents Lifesaving Knowledge)
Teaching Adolescents Lifesaving Knowledge (T.A.L.K.) empowers children in grades five through seven with the knowledge and skills they need to remain calm, provide basic care and get medical help if needed during an emergency. The training focuses on primary victim assessment, control of bleeding, helping choking victims, rescue breathing techniques and contacting Emergency Medical Services.
The T.A.L.K. program is offered to elementary and middle schools in June. If you are a principal, teacher or a parent who thinks the school your child attends might be interested in T.A.L.K., contact Jennifer Fruscella at 905 845-6601, ext 3855.
