2009 Community Attitudes Survey
In August 2009, a detailed survey was carried out to determine residents' thoughts on the local environment and the role the town has in protecting it. This survey is a follow up to one conducted in 2004 as part of the development of Oakville's Environmental Strategic Plan.

Sustainable Green Fleet Guide
The Sustainable Green Fleet Guide was created to assist with the implementation of the Sustainable Green Fleet Procedure, developed under the town's Environmental Sustainability Policy to support fleet greening initiatives and decisions around fuel-efficient and low-emission vehicles, carbon reduction strategies, alternative fuels, etc.

Sustainable Purchasing Handbook
The Sustainable Purchasing Handbook provides a guide to environmentally preferred purchasing for town staff as outlined by the Sustainable Purchasing Procedure under the town's Environmental Sustainability Policy. It will be updated annually to reflect new certifications and technologies.
