Ceremonies may be conducted at Town Hall in Meeting Room C between the hours of 12 noon and 5 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and the second Saturday afternoon of every month. The Council Chambers, South Atrium, North Atrium and the Japanese Garden are available on Thursdays and Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and the second Saturday afternoon of every month. The applicants may also arrange for the service to take place at a suitable alternate location in the area.
Couples wishing to take advantage of this service will be required to attend a consultation meeting with the officiant in the Clerk's Department prior to the ceremony. A valid Ontario Marriage Licence must be presented at this time along with a completed Civil Marriage Ceremony Questionnaire (available below) and current photo identification of both applicants. Marriage licences may be purchased at the Clerk's Department or from any Ontario municipality. Applicants will be asked to provide written copies of any additional vows they wish to be incorporated in the service.
