Coach House Study
Over the past summer, the Town of Oakville undertook a consultant-led study to identify potential new uses for the Oakville Coach House. The consultants have prepared a report with recommendations on the future use of the building.
The Coach House is a 117-year-old heritage building on the grounds of Erchless Estate — home of the Oakville Museum. It has had many roles over the years, including its most recent use as a museum storage facility. Now that the Museum has access to storage facilities at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, there is an exciting opportunity to identify another role for the Coach House.
A staff report was presented at the Community Services Committee Meeting on March 27 and approved by Council on April 3, 2017.
