Town Facility Holiday Schedule
Town Hall will be closed at noon on December 24 through to and including January 1. Town Hall will be open for business on Monday, January 4, 2010.
All libraries branches will be closed December 24 to 26, 31, and January 1, 2010.
Community centres, pools and arenas will be closed at noon on December 24, all day December 25, 26, and January 1, 2010. Open December 31 until 4 p.m.
Seniors Centres will be closed at noon on December 24 through to and including January 3, 2010.
Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts will be closed at noon on December 24 through to and including January 3, 2010.
Oakville Museum at Erchless Estate will be closed December 24 to 28 and January 1, 2010. Open December 29 to January 3 from 1- 4:30 p.m.
Central Operations Depot will be closed at noon on December 24, December 25, 28 and January 1, 2010.
Fire Administration and Training Centre will be closed at noon on December 24 through to and including January 1, 2010.
Oakville Transit will operate as follows: Let Oakville Transit do the driving this holiday season. For detailed route information and schedules, please visit the Oakville Transit website.
- December 24, 2009 - For Thursday, December 24, 2009, Oakville Transit has added extra bus trips or modified trip times early in the afternoon/evening in order to connect with the GO Transit train schedule at Clarkson GO, Oakville GO and Bronte GO.
- December 25 - Holiday service (8 a.m. - 8 p.m.)
- December 26 - Regular Saturday service
- December 27 - Regular Sunday service
- December 28 - Saturday level of service
- December 29-30 - Regular weekday service
- December 31 - Regular service (with Late Night service meeting the last train from Toronto, departing the Oakville GO Station at 1:50 a.m.)
- January 1 - Holiday service (8 a.m. - 8 p.m.)
