Oakville Fire Administration
The head of the town's fire department is the director of emergency planning and fire services (Fire Chief). The administration staff is comprised of three deputy fire chiefs and two support staff. Each deputy chief is responsible for a specific area within the department including operations, emergency management and preparedness, and training and prevention.
Vision statement: To minimize or eliminate injuries, loss of life and property from natural, technological or human-caused events.
Mission statement: To provide emergency response through a range of services to protect the lives, property and environment of the inhabitants of Oakville from the adverse effects of fires, sudden medical and non-medical emergencies including but not limited to exposure to dangerous conditions brought on by natural, technological or human caused events.
