Policy statement

The Town of Oakville’s (Town) strategic commitment to good governance is enhanced through the support of good governance initiatives in its related organizations.

Purpose

To provide practical guidance regarding effective governance practices to support the success of organizations to which the town provides resources.

Scope

This statement applies to local boards, and other community groups that rely on town resources/support to operate.
