Zoning By-law 2009-189 as amended
Take notice that Oakville Council passed Zoning By-law Amendment 2010-075 under section 34 of the Planning Act as amended on April 12, 2010.
Purpose and effect
The purpose and effect of Zoning By-law Amendment 2010-075 is to permit the following general housekeeping amendments to North Oakville Zoning By-law No. 2009-189:
- Amend the existing development (ED) zone pertaining to certain lands on the east and west side of the future Third Line, north of Dundas St., in order to allow stormwater management facilities as an additional permitted use;
- Amend the zoning as it pertains to 1086 Burnhamthorpe Road East to recognize an art gallery and art school on the property within existing buildings and structures; 3. Introduce a new zoning provision related to blocks of land not qualifying as Lots within plans of subdivision. These lands are also subject to the following planning applications:

Any appeals of the zoning by-law amendment must be filed with Cathie Best, Town Clerk, 1225 Trafalgar Road, P. O. Box 310, Oakville, ON L6J 5A6, setting out the reasons for the appeal together with a certified cheque or money order in the amount of $125 payable to the Minister of Finance. A copy of the appeal form is available from the Ontario Municipal Board website.
Only individuals, corporations and public bodies may appeal a by-law to the Ontario Municipal Board. A notice of appeal may not be filed by an unincorporated association or group. However, a notice of appeal may be filed in the name of an individual who is a member of the association or the group on its behalf.
No person or public body shall be added as a party to the hearing of the appeal unless, before the by-law was passed, the person or public body made oral submissions at a public meeting or written submissions to the Town of Oakville Council or, in the opinion of the Ontario Municipal Board, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
