The Town of Oakville has received a complete application by Bronte Green Corporation for a proposed zoning by-law amendment, proposed plans of subdivision and condominium.

The purpose of this application is to permit a new residential subdivision including parkland, a mix of residential units and mixed uses on the lands currently occupied the Saw Whet Golf Course.

The subject land is located east of Bronte Road, south of Upper Middle Road West.

At this time there are no other applications, under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended, pertaining to the subject lands.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the Town of Oakville before the by-law is passed or before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plans of subdivision and condominium:

  • the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Town of Oakville to the Ontario Municipal Board; and
  • the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
