The Town of Oakville has received a complete application by Bronte Green Corporation for a proposed official plan amendment.
Bronte Green Corporation submitted an Official Plan Amendment application which applies to the majority of the lands subject to the Merton Planning Study, and supports the previously submitted development application which applies exclusively to the Saw Whet lands. The development application proposes to permit a new residential subdivision including parkland, a mix of residential units and mixed uses on the lands currently occupied the Saw Whet Golf Course.
The subject land is located north of QEW, east of Bronte Road and south of Upper Middle Road West.
At this time there are no other applications, under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended, pertaining to the subject lands.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Oakville before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted:
- the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Town of Oakville Council to the Ontario Municipal Board; and
- the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the board, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
