Description

The proposed new development Costco facility is proposed to have 15,662.6 square meters of gross floor area, with a total of 1,000 parking spaces which will include both surface and underground parking. 

Specifically, the site is proposed to contain: 

  • 673 standard surface parking spaces 
  • 16 accessible surface parking spaces 
  • 305 standard underground parking spaces 
  • six accessible underground parking spaces 
  • 16 bicycle parking spaces 

The gas bar will contain a 1.4 square meters warming hut for a service attendant. The gas bar is located at the northwest corner of the site near the South Service Road West and RioCan Boulevard intersection. 

Two access points from Wyecroft Road are proposed which provide entry into the underground parking area. The site will also be accessible via RioCan Boulevard with one access on the north side of the site and a subsequent access on the east side of the site.
