Notice of Complete Application
The Town of Oakville has received a complete application by 2507 Dundas Storage GP Corporation (Dymon Group) for proposed official plan and zoning by-law amendments.
This application proposes a six storey non-residential mixed use building fronting onto Dundas Street West with a total GFA of 17,342 m2 consisting of self-storage, retail and office uses. The existing heritage home (279 m2) would be retained, relocated on the site and converted to an office use.

The purpose and effect of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to North Oakville Zoning By-law 2009-189 would be to rezone the property from “Existing Development” (ED) to “General Employment Performance Zone 1” (GE-1), subject to a Special Provision. This would permit the proposed commercial self-storage, retail and office uses with site-specific regulations related to landscaping, parking and loading spaces.
The subject land is located on the north side of Dundas Street West, east of Old Bronte Road.
This land is also subject to a proposed Town-initiated Official Plan Amendment (File No. 42.24.23) that proposes to bring the entire North Oakville West Secondary Plan Area into the Livable Oakville Plan and expand the Palermo Village Growth Area north of Dundas Street.
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Town of Oakville to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to Council c/o the Town Clerk at the Town of Oakville, Clerk’s department, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON L6H 0H3 (Dropbox is located in front of Town Hall) or at TownClerk@oakville.ca before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted or the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to Council c/o the Town Clerk at the Town of Oakville, Clerk’s department, before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted or the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
