An Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision application has been submitted to facilitate the development of approximately 8 hectares of land, located on the west side of Sixth Line, north of Marvin Avenue.
The site specific Official Plan Amendment proposes to increase the density of the Neighbourhood Centre Block along Sixth Line for a maximum density of 260 units per site hectare. The site specific Zoning Amendment proposes to rezone the site from Existing Development to site specific regulations for the Neighbourhood Centre, General Urban, Suburban, Natural Heritage System and Storm Water Management Facility zones.
The development proposes to create 501 residential units (141 street townhouses and 360 apartment units), the road system, a stormwater management facility block, a Neighbourhood Centre block for the apartment units, and a natural heritage block associated with the West Morrison Creek.
At this time there are no other applications, under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended, pertaining to the subject lands.
