Enjoy family-friendly activities and fireworks at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park on Canada Day

Canada Day is returning to Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park on Saturday, July 1. Residents of all ages are invited to join the fun-filled evening of family-friendly activities, live entertainment, tasty food trucks and a dazzling fireworks display.
Starting at 6 p.m., the event features an exciting lineup of performances from talented artists Chris Patterson, Arlene, Anthony Tullo, and Oakville born and raised band, Lonely Hearts. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy captivating acts by Edward the Juggler, Canada Rocks Aerial Show, Rob Testa Magic, hula hoop artists and stilt walkers and a variety of interactive activities to participate in, including arts and crafts, horticultural planting, sports and games. The park also has a dedicated reflection space for attendees to take a moment and reflect on what it means to be Canadian, and the importance of Truth and Reconciliation.
At 8 p.m. a bag piper and drummer will welcome dignitaries followed by the national anthem performed by Arlene. The grand finale of the night will be a beautiful display of fireworks beginning at 10 p.m. weather permitting.
To ensure a smooth and convenient experience for attendees, the Town of Oakville is offering free Oakville Transit shuttle services to and from Bronte GO Station. The shuttle service begins at 5:30 p.m. and runs every 10 minutes. Please note that road closures will be in effect, and there will be no event parking available onsite. The last shuttle to the park leaves from Bronte GO Station at 9:30 p.m.
Return shuttle service to Bronte GO Station will begin once the fireworks display has ended.
