South Central Public Lands Study Information Night on June 21, 2012

Wed, 13 Jun 2012

Oakville Arena, Kinsmen Pine Room, 133 Rebecca Street
Project presentation — 7 p.m.
Information stations & informal discussions — 8 p.m.

The South Central Public Lands Study focuses on five sites in south central Oakville:

  • Brantwood Public School
  • Chisholm Public School
  • Linbrook Public School
  • Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital
  • Oakville Arena, including Trafalgar Park

The study will determine how these sites should be used in the long term. It will rely on the final recommendations of the Parks, Recreation and Library Facilities Master Plan to determine the recreational needs for south central Oakville.

Once Council has approved the Parks, Recreation and Library Facilities Master Plan, the community will be encouraged to share their preferences about which of the five sites in the South Central Public Lands Study should be used for approved facilities.

Until then, we hope you will take some time to learn about the sites, and consider your own preferences for them.

This study information night will offer you valuable information about both the South Central Public Lands Study and the feedback received on the draft Parks, Recreation and Library Facilities Master Plan.

Visit the South Central Public Land Study page for more information.

We look forward to hearing from you!
