On Tuesday December 5, 2017 Town Council passed By-law By-law 2017-120, which adopted Official Plan Amendment 19, under section 17(23), of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended at its meeting that commenced on December 4, 2017 and was completed December 5, 2017.
The purpose of the proposed official plan amendment is to modify the text and schedules of the Livable Oakville Plan pertaining to the Downtown Oakville Growth Area to implement the findings of the Downtown Oakville Growth Area Review.

The proposed amendment will result in changes to the following parts of the Livable Oakville Plan:
Downtown Oakville Growth Area ("subject lands") as identified on the map below.
These lands are also subject to Randall Rose Homes Corp. – 300 Randall Street – 24CDM-17006/1613; and 2524151 Ontario Inc. – 332-338 Robinson Street – SP. 1713.043/01
Council’s decision reflects the written submissions received from the public and they have been appropriately addressed.
Any person or public body will be entitled to receive notice of the decision of the approval authority if a written request to be notified of the decision (including the person’s or public body’s address, fax number or email address) is made to the Manager of Planning Policy for the Regional Municipality of Halton at 1151 Bronte Road, Oakville, ON L6M 3L1.
The Director of Planning Services and Chief Planning Official for the Regional Municipality of Halton at 1151 Bronte Road, Oakville, ON L6M 3L1 is the approval authority to which these proposed official plan amendments will be submitted for approval.
The public may view planning documents and background material at the Planning Services department between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday or online at the Downtown Oakville Growth Area Review page.
