Statutory Public Meeting:
Monday, March 20, 2017 at, 2017 at 7 p.m.
Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Council Chamber

You are invited to attend and provide input at these meetings hosted by the Planning Services department and Planning and Development Council, respectively.

The proposal reflects 67 detached units and 19 townhouse units, blocks or part blocks for future residential development and future condominium development, natural heritage system, park and stormwater management pond.  The development proposes to subdivide and rezone the subject lands (6.5 ha in size) to implement the North Oakville East Secondary Plan.

The subject parcel of land is located on the north side of Dundas Street West, east from Proudfoot Trail.

At this time there are no other applications, under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended, pertaining to the subject land.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to Council c/o the Town Clerk at the Town of Oakville, Clerk’s department, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON L6H 0H3 or at TownClerk@oakville.ca before the by-law is passed and before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision:

  •  the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Town of Oakville Council to the Ontario Municipal Board; and
  •  the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

Any submission to the Planning and Development Council, either in hard copy or in electronic format, must be forwarded to the Clerk's department for receipt no later than noon on March 20, 2017, to ensure its availability to the Members of Council at the meeting. Individuals making oral submissions at the public meeting are requested to submit a written outline of the submission to the Town Clerk.  All submissions should include the full name and address of the presenter.

If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Town of Oakville on the proposed zoning by-law amendment and the proposed plan of subdivision, you must make a written request to the Town Clerk at the Town of Oakville, Clerk’s department, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON L6H 0H3 or at TownClerk@oakville.ca
