Oakville’s arts and culture groups are invited to participate in artsVest – a matching incentive and sponsorship training program designed to create partnerships between businesses and arts and culture groups. artsVest is offered by Business for the Arts, a national charitable organization that strengthens arts and culture in Canada by building partnerships between the private and cultural sectors.

The program provides local arts organizations with:

  • Free live sponsorship training workshop
  • Individualized mentorship sessions with Canada's top sponsorship and board governance experts
  • Peer-to-peer training workshops
  • Webinars, marketing and branding tutorials
  • Access to a 6-module e-Learning sponsorship course
  • A resource bank of sponsorship tools and templates

As an added incentive, artsVest participants can apply for matching grants - for every dollar raised in sponsorship, Business for the Arts will match it - doubling their sponsorship opportunity.

The artsVest program in Oakville is made possible with funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Government of Canada, as well as in-kind support from The Town of Oakville.
