We’re developing a plan to guide future improvements to parks, trails and open spaces within the College Park area based on the needs of the community. We want to hear from you. We’d like to know how you use your parks and open spaces. What park amenities are needed and where? Do you feel there is a need for more open green spaces or children’s play areas? Is more parking needed? More walking trails? Better connectivity to different areas? Take our survey and come to our meeting and tell us what you think. Your input is important.
Thank you joining us at the public meeting on June 19, 2019. If you were unable to attend the meeting, and would like more information, you can review a copy of the presentation.
The College Park area parks survey is now closed – thank you.
1185 Parkhill Road
The College Park area is bordered by Upper Middle Road on the north, Sixteen Mile Creek on the west, Trafalgar Road on the east, and the QEW on the south. The neighbourhood was originally established in the 1950s and has continued to grow into the neighbourhood it is today, with a collection of active parks, open spaces, trails and waterways.
Following public input in 2018, Martindale Park was selected as the site of a new children’s spray pad, with construction to commence late summer 2019. For more information visit the Martindale Park page.
We now want to hear from you to help plan for future needs of the community. Your input will help shape the plan presented to Council for future budget consideration.
