As the province begins to gradually ease restrictions on January 31, 2022, the Town of Oakville is ready to welcome residents back to our facilities with health and safety measures in place.
Operations at the greenhouse help to provide horticulture displays for street boulevards and planters across the town. In addition to providing Oakville with beautiful flower displays that change seasonally, the Conservatory is open to the public and showcases an array of plant-life, a pond, and a waterfall.
Volunteer Opportunities are available for helping in transplanting small plants and placing trays of plants into designated areas and assisting in the Door’s Open event to show visitors around. Assistance is needed from the end of March to May, on weekdays mornings, and afternoons. Send an email to email@example.com to inquire about volunteer opportunities at the greenhouse. Opportunities for spring 2022 are now being accepted and will be reviewed by staff.
Bookings are required for group tours, photography sessions, gardening sessions, and ceremony bookings. The Photography in Parks page has more information on outdoor photography bookings.
