To help slow the spread of COVID-19 and support Public Health officials, the Town of Oakville has joined the Province of Ontario and Halton Region in declaring a State of Emergency. Facilities and parks remain closed. Only essential services are being delivered.

Operations at the greenhouse help to provide horticulture displays for street boulevards and planters across the town. In addition to providing Oakville with beautiful flower displays that change seasonally, the Conservatory is open to the public and showcases an array of plant-life, a pond, and a waterfall.
Volunteer Opportunities are available for a variety of tasks at the greenhouse, including helping in transplanting and placing trays of small plants in to designated areas, carrying potted plants, and assisting in the Door’s Open event to show visitors around. Assistance is needed from February to May on weekdays mornings and afternoons. Send an email to email@example.com inquire about volunteer opportunities at the greenhouse. Opportunities for spring 2020 are now being accepted and will be reviewed by staff.
Bookings are required for group tours, photography sessions, gardening sessions, and ceremony bookings. The Photography in Parks page has more information on outdoor photography bookings.
