Operations at the greenhouse help to provide horticulture displays for street boulevards and planters across the town. In addition to providing Oakville with beautiful flower displays that change seasonally, the Conservatory is open to the public and showcases an array of plant-life, a pond, and a waterfall.
Volunteer Opportunities are available for a variety of tasks at the greenhouse, including helping to transplant and maintain seedlings, do plant cuttings, and repot plants. Assistance is most often needed from February to May on weekday mornings.
The greenhouse currently has a full schedule of volunteers and will not require any more help for the summer and fall of 2017.
Bookings are required for group tours, photography sessions, gardening sessions, and ceremony bookings. The Photography in Parks page has more information on outdoor photography bookings.
