Holy Family camp schedules and off-site trips

Holy Family Catholic School is located at 1420 Grosvenor Street. Swimming will take place at Falgarwood Pool.

Before and after-care is available starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m. A separate registration and fee is required.

Information has been posted for select camps only, at this time. Camp details will be provided up to two weeks in advance of the program start date. If you do not see the camp you are looking for, please check back later or call 905-338-4250 for assistance.

What to Bring

Parents and/or guardians are required to provide government issued photo I.D. at pick up for all camps.

All campers should pack a nut-free lunch and refillable water bottle daily.

A hat and sunscreen are recommended for outdoor activities.

Closed-toe running shoes are recommended for all participants.

A swimsuit and towel are required on swimming days.

Please note: No camp Monday, July 1 and Monday, August 5.

Leader in Training Program

Leader in Training – Junior

Week 1

Participants will engage in interactive in-class learning activities to develop their leadership skills and prepare for their placement. We swim Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Week 2

Participants will complete a five-day placement on site at one of our summer camp locations to apply what they’ve learned and gain more practical experience as a camp program leader.

Leader in Training – Senior

We swim Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Weeks 1 and 2.

Week 1

Participants will engage in interactive in-class learning activities to develop their leadership skills and prepare for their placement.

Week 2

Participants will build on their leadership skills while participating in two certification courses this week:

  • Tuesday – HIGH FIVE Principles of Health Child Development.
  • Thursday – Emergency First Aid with CPR C and AED

Week 3

Participants will complete a five-day placement on site at one of our summer camp locations to apply what they’ve learned and gain more practical experience as a camp program leader.

More than Babysitting

  • Tuesday – Ages and Stages of Children
  • Wednesday – Red Cross Babysitting Course
  • Thursday – CPR Level C and AED Training
  • Friday – Back pocket activities and swimming. Please bring a swimsuit and towel.

Weekly themes:

Week 1 – Toymation (ages 6-8)

Week 2 – Filmmaking (ages 9-12)

Week 3 – Claymation (ages 9-12)

Week 4 – Toymation (ages 6-8) 

Week 5 – Marvelous Comics Junior (ages 6-8) and Senior (ages 9-12)

Week 6 – Trailers & Commercials (ages 9-12)

Week 7 – Filmmaking (ages 9-12)

Week 8 – Claymation (ages 9-12)

Campers will receive a one-hour swimming lesson daily and a Lifesaving Society report card at the end of each week.

Please ensure participants have a swimsuit and towel every day.

Please note: This camp does not include an off-site trip.

Lil Sports

Lil Sports campers will spend half the day with a Specialized Sports Instructor, covering a new sport each day. Fun camp activities and games lead by Play Leaders round out the day.

Summer Sport and Golf Camp

Campers will participate in a wide variety of sports throughout the week.

In the afternoon, campers will travel to Tee Zone Golf Academy by chartered bus to master their putting, chipping and overall golf game.

Campers may bring their own golf clubs or use equipment available on site, though quantities may be limited.

The Tiny Tots Discovery program includes half a day of play-based learning and physical literacy activities. The day is rounded out with general camp activities.
