Town of Oakville recreation facilities remain open with new health and safety measures.

The Town of Oakville continues its commitment to health and safety with altered programs and services, and is in regular contact with public health authorities to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

With Premier Ford’s announcement on Friday, November 13, we have moved into the Red-Control level of the provincial COVID-19 Response Framework.

The following are in effect at all town-operated recreation facilities:

  • Access to recreation facilities is limited to 90 minutes.
  • Team sport programming such as hockey has been suspended.
  • Drop-in programs for non-team sports such as badminton and pickleball continue with limited capacities.
  • Spectators are not permitted.

Not all facilities or amenities are available at this time. If you don’t see your favourite program now, check back regularly. Activities are being added as safety measures can be put in place. Visit our Programs FAQs page for more information.
