The Hive is a free weekly drop-in activity for crafty bees to connect, create, share, teach, laugh or simply relax by indulging in a creative activity!

at Iroquois Ridge Community Centre
Nurture your creativity. All ages and abilities welcome.
Tools and materials will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own knitting needles, crochet hooks, etc. if you have them.

The Town of Oakville provides seniors 80+ an opportunity to get out and socialize with others through our Friendship Luncheon programs.
Volunteer drivers pick clients up at their homes (around 10:30 a.m.), bring them to the centres and then return to take them home (around 2 p.m.).
If you are able to volunteer one hour per week, please contact Stephanie Coughlin, at 905-845-6601 ext. 3498, for the Iroquois Ridge Older Adult Centre every Thursday).

Fluid Zen is a combination of Qigong, Tai Chi and aqua-fitness movements that flow together to create a dynamic meditative experience in the water.
Exercising in the pool also reduces the risk of injury and fear of falling due to the supportive nature of the water.
Drop-in Fluid Zen programs are offered at Iroquois Ridge Community Centre Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 to 9 a.m.
Cost: $10 per visit or $8 (ages 65+), plus HST
