The Oakville Recreational Hockey League (ORHL) is the town’s adult hockey league (ages 18+) that runs out of the state-of-the-art Sixteen Mile Sports Complex.

To register, submit a completed:
Teams wishing to join a league should register with a minimum of 15 players, including a goalie. Individual players may also join most of the leagues and will be slotted within a team or combined into a team based on registration numbers and openings. Some restrictions apply.
All prices include HST and an additional $11.30 non-resident fee applies to individual registrations for participants that do not live in Oakville. Payment plans are also available and will be discussed upon registration.
All leagues run with certified referees and offer 12-24 guaranteed games (depending on the night), including playoffs. Check your registration confirmation carefully for exclusion dates.
Start times for all games will vary between 8 and 11 p.m., depending on registration numbers.
Full equipment and a CSA helmet with facial protection (half visor minimum) are mandatory.
All teams require matching jerseys with different numbers. If you register as a team but do not have matching jerseys, the league will provide jerseys for an extra fee of $225 (tax included).
Jerseys for individual registrations are included with their program fee.

The 35+ Intermediate league is for players 35 years and older, who have played hockey at a competitive level in the past.
Games are on Thursdays, starting September 26 (for 24 games):
This League is for players 50+ that are looking to stay active and play in a recreational league against players similar in skill. Age: 50+
Games are on Sundays, starting September 22 (for 24 games):
This is a co-ed league (ages 18+) that will play with specific rules suited for a fun safe environment.
Game are on Saturdays, starting September 28 (for 24 games):
The Developmental league is suitable for players that are brand new to hockey or just looking to get back on their skates in a low competitive hockey league where participation and skill development are emphasized. Team registration is not available for this level.
Games are on Tuesdays, starting September 24 (for 12 games):
The Hall of Fame league is geared toward players ages 40+ looking to stay fit, active and play against players with similar experience.
Games are on Wednesdays, starting September 25 (for 24 games):
The Intermediate league is for players who have played hockey at a competitive level in the past. This league is fast-paced and would be comparable to most other C/D level hockey leagues in the GTA.
Games are Thursdays, starting September 26 (for 24 games):
The Recreational league is for players with hockey experience but who never really played at a high level in the past. This league would be comparable to most other D/E level hockey leagues in the GTA. Three days of play are available.

The Women's Competitive division is for women who have played hockey at a competitive level and are looking to have fun while playing against women with similar skills. This division can be tiered based on registration.

This division is for women who are looking for a low-competitive environment. Fair play and fun are emphasized. The division will be tiered based on team registrations.
