QEPCCC camp schedules and off-ground trips

Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre (QEPCCC) is Oakville's state-of-the-art facility for recreation, arts and cultural activities. QEPCCC is home to a pool, youth centre, various studios, gymnasia, community rooms and sports fields.

Before and After-care is available starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m. A separate registration and fee is required. Follow the signs to before and after-care from the main entrance.

Information has been posted for select camps only, at this time. We will provide camp details up to two weeks in advance of the program start date. If you do not see the camp you are looking for, please check back later or call 905-338-4250 for assistance.

What to Bring

Parents and/or guardians are required to provide government issued photo I.D. at pick up for all camps.

All campers should pack a nut-free lunch and refillable water bottle daily.

A hat and sunscreen are recommended for outdoor activities.

Closed-toe running shoes are recommended for all participants.

A swimsuit and towel are required for water activities and swimming.

Please tie long hair back.

All art camps are comprised of a half-day of art instruction given by a professional artist, and a half-day of creative activities and games led by play leaders.

Please note: No camp Monday, July 1 and Monday, August 5.

Campers should dress for mess and have all long hair tied back while participating in any of the following programs.

Art Smart

Participants in Art Smart Junior (ages 7-9, weeks 1-9) and Senior (ages 10-12, weeks 1, 3, and 5) work with a professional artist for half the day and spend the other half enjoying a blend of themed camp activities and creative play.

Carpenter's Apprentice

Participants work with a woodworker for half the day and enjoy a blend of themed camp activities and creative play for the other half.

Family and friends are invited to an art show on Friday afternoon.

Culinary Kids Summer Camp

Participants work with a chef for half the day and enjoy a blend of themed camp activities and creative play for the other half.

This program is held in a facility that may be in contact with allergens.

Digital Dimensions

Participants work with a media artist for half the day and enjoy a blend of themed camp activities and creative play for the other half.

Family and friends are invited to an art show on Friday afternoon.

Glee Camp

Participants work with a singer/actor for half the day and enjoy a blend of themed camp activities and creative play for the other half.

Family and friends are invited to a performance on Friday afternoon.

It's All About Clay

In this two-week program, participants work with a ceramicist for half the day to learn various handbuilding and sculpting techniques. A blend of themed camp activities and creative play will be enjoyed for the other half.

Some pieces will go home on the last day while others need up to three weeks to be fired. We will call you when they are ready.

Family and friends are invited to a performance on the afternoon of the second Friday.

Little Picasso

Participants work with a professional artist for half the day and enjoy a blend of themed camp activities and creative play for the other half.

Family and friends are invited to an art show on Friday afternoon.

Little Splinters

So You Think You Can Dance

Participants work with a dance professional for half the day and enjoy a blend of themed camp activities and creative play for the other half.

Please wear comfortable clothing (no jeans) and running shoes every day.

Family and friends are invited to a performance on Friday afternoon.

Squishy Sculpture

Participants will work with a textile artist for half the day and enjoy a blend of themed camp activities and creative play for the other half.

Family and friends are invited to an art show on Friday afternoon.

Code-it Hacks

Projects will involve real world issues as campers create a ‘super hero’ to tackle the impossible using coding techniques. Campers will also develop exciting games to play with their friends.

The rest of the day consists of robotics-themed camp activities and games lead by Play Leaders. Projects will be geared to age and skill.

Mad Science Camps

All Mad Science camps (Junior, ages 7-9 and Senior, ages 10-12) are comprised of a half day of science instruction given by a professional instructor, and a half day of fun camp activities and games lead by Play Leaders.

Participants should wear closed-toed running shoes and tie long hair back during instruction.

Robotics

Specialized instructors from Robothink will spend a half day with Juniors (ages 8-9) and Seniors (ages 10-12) leading activities in robotics, STEM and engineering.

The rest of the day consists of robotics-themed camp activities and games lead by Play Leaders. Projects will be geared to age and skill.

Safari Science

Each day includes a half-day interaction session with the animals and a certified professional instructor, followed by fun camp activities and games for Juniors, ages 6-8 and Seniors, ages 9-12!

Bring a swimsuit and towel for swimming activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Summer Eco-Adventure

Special off-ground/on-site activities occur daily highlighting the natural wonders found within Halton.

Bring a swimsuit and towel for swimming activities on Tuesday and Thursday.

Camp All-Star

This camp includes components of fitness, sports, and nutrition-based learning with meal ideas for pre and post-workout or games.

Bring a bathing suit and towel for swim/water fitness activities on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Running shoes and comfortable clothing are required daily.

Food workshops are held in a facility that may be in contact with allergens.

Lil-Sports

Explore a different sport daily. Play Leaders will lead engaging games, drills and camp activities that are fun and benefit healthy childhood development. Sport instruction will be based on age and skill.

A hat, sunscreen and running shoes are recommended for each participant.

Rock and Wave

Participants will enjoy rock climbing activities every morning, and will swim daily.

Campers must wear closed-toed running shoes to participate in rock climbing activities.

All campers must submit a completed Rock Climbing Waiver form (PDF) before camp starts.

Swim, Bike, Run – Wanna Tri?

Participants will cover all triathlon components with dryland training and work in the pool. Spin Bikes and hydroriders will be used for the cycling portion of this camp. A variety of youth-based activities will round out the day.

Bathing suits, goggles, running shoes and comfortable clothing are required daily.

Ultimate Sports

Participants will enjoy instruction in a variety of sports daily plus an off-site trip every Thursday. Bring a swimsuit and towel for swimming activities onsite on Tuesdays and Fridays.

A hat, sunscreen and running shoes are recommended for each participant.

Summer Sizzlers Tots will have a special guest visit on site every Thursday except Week 6, when they will have a trip off site instead.

Get ready for a week of adventure! Participants will enjoy a variety of recreation activities including swimming twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday with a special off-ground/on-site activity.
