Celebrate with us all summer long!

We have lots of exciting things planned.

A different family-friendly Movies in the Park event will be held in each ward between August 19 and September 16. An activity, entertainer or special guest will add to the fun!

Meet up with Sparky and Oakville firefighters at splash pads across town throughout the summer.

Join us for great special events honouring Emancipation Day, Indigenous History, Pride, and more!

Don't forget to check out our fun Celebrate Summer Scavenger Hunt and enter for a chance to win a free Family Activity Pass!

Our half-day drop-in summer camp option is back by popular demand!

Love our Summer Sizzlers program, but don't want to attend camp every day? Buy a Super Playgrounds Summer Membership.

For just $35 ($45 for non-residents) kids ages 6 to 12 get access to fun games, crafts and activities at select sites across Oakville for the whole summer.

All five locations run half-days weekdays from July 4 to August 26. No before- and after-care or supervised lunch breaks provided. No camp August 1.

Trafalgar Park offers a special evening session every Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. instead of a morning program that day.

Tell us how we’re doing!

We want to hear about your experiences with our recreation and culture programs and facilities.

Registrants will be emailed a short survey after their last class to collect candid feedback. Fitness members will receive two requests for feedback. The first survey request will be sent 15 days after their membership starts, and the second request will be sent 15 days prior to their membership expiring.

This is your chance to tell us what we’re doing right and where we might need to improve. We look forward to hearing from you!

Not taking a class but want to share your thoughts? Contact us!

Check the Newsletters, Surveys and Feedback Forms page for a list of more town subscriptions and feedback options.

Donation Requests

The Recreation and Culture department supports giving back to the community and does so by promoting active living through recreational opportunities. Eligible groups may request one donation from the following options: three-month family swim/skate pass; individual drop-in passes; or three-month full fitness membership. Request a donation for your special event or fundraiser.

Advertising and sponsorships

We have great advertising opportunities available in our facilities, including digital screens and arena boards, with special rates for CORE members. If you are a member of a non-profit volunteer-based community organization, visit the Community Group Affiliations (CORE) page for information about discounted rates, and more.
