Our half-day drop-in summer camp option is back by popular demand!

Love our Summer Sizzlers program, but don't want to attend camp every day? Check out our Summer Sizzler Super Playgrounds drop-in program* (ages 6-12).

  • Just $35 for the whole summer.
  • Fun games, crafts and activities.
  • Half-days at select sites across Oakville. NEW for 2020 – a special evening session will be offered every Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.

*Registrants will receive a Super Playgrounds membership pass that must be presented to staff on site, and must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian. First-come, first-served for each half-day.

For sites that have a splash pad, remember to bring a swimsuit and towel!

Program Schedule

All five locations will run as half-day sites on weekdays from July 2 to August 28. Morning program hours are from 9 a.m. to noon. Afternoon program hours are 1 to 4 p.m.

NEW! By request, a special evening session will be offered on Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m.

No before and after-care or supervised lunch breaks provided. No camp June 29 and 30, July 1 or August 3.

Schedule is subject to change and program may be cancelled due to poor weather.

What else should you know?

  • Wear closed-toe shoes and a hat.
  • Bring a water bottle, nut free snack and sunscreen every day.
  • For locations with a splash pad, participants may wear a bathing suit and bring a towel.

Membership Passes

Registrants get a card that must be presented to staff as part of the sign-in process at all Super Playground locations. Membership packages will be mailed to the home address of each registrant (as of Friday, May 31).

June 3 or later, in-person pickups at Town Hall can be requested calling 905-815-2000.

Please note: Online registration for this program closes Saturday, June 20. After this date, registration will only be available in person at Town Hall during regular business hours.

Safe Arrival and Dismissal

All participants must be signed in and out of the program by a parent or guardian. Government-issued photo identification is required for pick up.

Each location can accommodate up to 24 participants at a time. Participants will be signed in on a first-come, first-served basis at the program start time (9 a.m. for morning sites and 1 p.m. for afternoon sites).

Weather Policy

This program is subject to safe weather conditions and may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Program cancellations will be posted on oakville.ca and shared via social media.

Washroom Facilities

Washroom facilities are available at each location.

EpiPens and Inhalers

Any child bringing an EpiPen or inhaler to the program must bring it in a separate fanny pack/case to be worn at all times. A medical consent form must be completed upon sign in.
