Gaétan-Gervais camp schedules and off-site trips

École secondaire Gaétan-Gervais is located at 1075 McCraney Street East. Swimming will take place at White Oaks Pool.

Before and after-care is available starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m. A separate registration and fee is required.

Information has been posted for select camps only, at this time. Camp details will be provided up to two weeks in advance of the program start date. If you do not see the camp you are looking for, please check back later or call 905-338-4250 for assistance.

What to Bring

Parents and/or guardians are required to provide government issued photo I.D. at pick up for all camps.

All campers should pack a nut-free lunch and refillable water bottle daily.

A hat and sunscreen are recommended for outdoor activities.

Closed-toe running shoes are recommended for all participants.

A swimsuit and towel are required on swimming days.

Specialty camps may require equipment specific to their programs

Dip Kick Swing Junior

Campers will swim daily. Bring a swimsuit and towel. Campers will focus on:

  • soccer skills and drills on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
  • tennis lessons on Tuesday and Thursday

Campers may bring their own tennis racquet or use equipment available on site, though quantities may be limited.

Need for Speed Competitive Swim Camp

Please note: Participants must be able to swim 25 metres of both front and back crawl.

Campers will swim daily. Bring a swimsuit and towel.

In partnership with Oakville Aquatic Club coaches, campers will prepare for a mini swim meet on Fridays. Play Leaders will round out the day with traditional camp games and activities.

Swim Leadership and Tennis Camp

Campers will swim daily. Bring a swimsuit and towel.

Campers will also receive tennis instruction by a specialized instructor. Participants can bring their own tennis racquet or may use equipment available on site, though quantities may be limited.

All Sport camps are comprised of a half day of sports instruction given by a specialized instructor, and a half day of fun camp activities and games lead by Play Leaders.

All participants are recommended to wear closed-toed running shoes and to bring any sport-specific equipment as needed.

Week 2, July 8-12 – Soccer

Week 3, July 15-19 – Floor Hockey

Week 4, July 22-26 – Basketball

Week 5, July 29-August 2 – Tennis. Campers can bring their own racquet or may use equipment available on site, though quantities may be limited.

Week 6, August 6-9 – Baseball. Participants may bring their own bat/glove or may use equipment available on site, though quantities may be limited.
