The town uses a number of different platforms to track and monitor environmental indicators. As part of the town’s 2018-2022 Environmental Sustainability Plan (ESP), the companion State of the Environment reporting (SOER) program provides a snapshot of key indicators that help give us a better understanding of where we've been, how we're doing and where we need to go. In 2018, this program was updated to provide online reporting that is updated annually.
The town's Ecological Footprint program also provides an overview of the town's environmental impact through the use of a number of consumption related indicators at both a town wide and neighbourhood level.
In addition to the environment, learn more about the other performance indicators the town uses to monitor progress.
