As the province plans for recovery, the town is beginning to slowly bring back services and reopen some public spaces. Provincial emergency orders and the town’s physical distancing by-law remain in effect. We must all continue to follow guidelines from Public Health officials.
Oakville's local hockey players, fans and enthusiasts showed up by the hundreds to participate in Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour in downtown Oakville on November 25 and 26!
This free, fun-filled hockey celebration showcased the best of Oakville’s love of the game with a free two-day outdoor hockey festival that welcomed local celebrities, NHL alumni Darryl Sittler, Adam Graves and Darcy Tucker, and featured free activities, games, and live entertainment for all ages.
It was an honour to host the NHL outdoor viewing party on Sunday with Ron MacLean and Tara Slone live from the Sportsnet™ Mobile Studio. Many thanks to everyone who attended to show the viewers of the Vancouver Canucks vs. New York Rangers game how passionate Oakville is about hockey!

Fans have the chance to get close to their favorite players through augmented reality technology. Fans can take photos with virtual images of NHL stars, and have the photo emailed directly to their device for social sharing.

A family-friendly space to engage hockey fans, celebrate the game, and interact with NHL alumni, such as Darcy Tucker. Scotiabank will also be donating $15,000 to minor hockey associations in the community.
Features the famous Stow ’n Go Challenge, a hockey-themed obstacle course. Also, fans have the opportunity to enter a contest to win $5,000 for their local minor hockey association and a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica for their family. All contest entrants will receive a co-branded Dodge and Rogers Hometown Hockey retro toque.
