As the province plans for recovery, the town is beginning to carefully and responsibly bring back services and reopen some public spaces, programs and services. Provincial emergency orders and the town’s physical distancing by-law remain in effect. We must all continue to follow guidelines from Public Health officials.

Retiree benefit coverage includes extended health care, dental, emergency travel and life insurance coverage of $2,000.
Retiree benefit coverage ceases at the end of the month in which you reach age 65.
If you retire before the age of 65, either because of a disability, or with the OMERS 90 factor (or prevailing factor), and who have at least 15 years of service with the Corporation, you will have the opportunity to continue benefit coverage.
The Corporation will contribute to monthly premium costs based on the following schedule:
You will be responsible for payment of the remaining portion of the premium. Arrangements for preauthorized payment must be made with the Pension & Benefits Administrator.
