The town is now in Stage 2 of the province’s reopening framework. More town amenities, programs and services are becoming available. Provincial orders remain in effect and we must all follow public health guidelines.
The town is a great place to work and we understand the excitement of starting a new challenge. We also know that as a new employee you may be wondering how to get started. We would like to help answer all your questions.
By now you should have received your offer letter and a helpful information package for new employees. To complement that package, you will be invited to attend a half day orientation program in Human Resources designed to help you realize the full potential of your first months with the town. The program will give you a greater understanding of the town including:
Please be at the Human Resources department at Town Hall at 8:45 a.m. on orientation day, unless otherwise noted in your offer letter.
Please remember to bring all paperwork that was sent to you in your offer package. An HR Associate will collect this.
Unless otherwise advised, you are welcome to bring your own lunch or purchase one from Acorn Grill, the on-site cafeteria.
