Summer Camp at the Oakville Museum

Join us for a summer break filled with excitement and adventure! Our camps offer a safe environment for kids to learn, laugh and explore. Registration opens February 8, 2020.

Half day camps (Age: 4-6)

July 6-10: Mini Museum Adventures on the Waterfront

It’s all about water: what lives in it, on it, or sails along it! Explore the Sixteen Mile Creek, learn about shipbuilding in Oakville’s past and get ready to get wet and play water games. Don’t forget your beach towel! Two sessions available: 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. Fee: $165.00. Register online.

July 27-31: Mini Museum Imaginarium

This camp will motivate little ones to build creativity and explore their imagination! Make dazzling crafts and fashionable art. Play group games that will inspire a world of fantasy! Two sessions available: 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. Fee: $165.00. Register online.

August 4-7: Mini Museum Mystery

Solve a mystery at the Oakville Museum! Look for clues and play memory games. Go on a detective hunt and expeditions through the Chisholm chambers. Who is Mr. Chisholm? Join us this week to find out! Two sessions available: 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. Fee: $132.00. (No class on Monday, August 3) Register online.

August 24-28: Mini Museum Ancient Days

A summer expedition of ancient cultures. Make crafts inspired by ancient art, hunt for treasures from the past and participate in a mini version of the Olympic games. Two sessions available: 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. Fee: $165.00. Register online.

July 13-17: Museum Imaginarium (Age: 7-11)

Become an inventor, participate in design challenges, and construct your own imaginary city inspired by history. This fun-filled camp will motivate children to build creativity and explore their imagination! Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fee: $274.00. Register online.

July 20-24: The Environmental Easel (Age: 6-10)

Spend some time getting closer to nature and develop your artistic talent! Experiment with watercolours, oil pastels, and painting with natural materials. Be inspired by Oakville Museum’s beautiful spot by Lake Ontario and create unique nature-based art work! Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fee: $274.00. Register online.

August 10-14: Ancient Days (Age: 7-11)

Explore cultures from the past at Oakville Museum! Craft your own mini mosaic and participate in a modern version of the ancient Olympic games. Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fee: $274.00. Register online.

August 17-21: Museum Adventures on the Waterfront (Age: 7-11)

Enjoy an exciting week-long camp of water-related activities. Highlights include a scavenger hunt along the banks of the Sixteen Mile Creek, playing outdoor water games and ending the week with new friends at the Erchless beach party! Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fee: $274.00. Register online.
