2018 Toy Drive a Success!

Thanks to the generosity of the community the annual holiday toy drive provided gifts to 4028 local children who would not have otherwise received anything over the holidays.

Thank you to all the individuals, corporate groups and organizations who ran their own toy drives or made donations this year. The quantity and quality of gifts donated was better than ever.

This year gifts were provided to 19 agencies including:

Gift Suggestions

All donations are sincerely appreciated; however, the area of greatest need are gifts for youth ages 11 to 15. Some gift ideas for this age group include: gift cards, sports equipment, electronics, posters, calendars, journals, school supplies, backpacks, clothing (winter hats and gloves), jewelry, hair accessories, cosmetics, blankets, shower products, movies and  movie passes. To assist in gift sorting please ensure your gifts are new and unwrapped.

Get Involved

Community groups and corporations are encouraged to spread the holiday cheer by organizing their own toy drives or donations to support the Oakville Firefighters Toy Drive.
