As the province plans for recovery, the town is beginning to carefully and responsibly bring back services and reopen some public spaces, programs and services. Provincial emergency orders and the town’s physical distancing by-law remain in effect. We must all continue to follow guidelines from Public Health officials.
Contractor Vehicle Parking (CVP) permits are available to allow for contractor passenger vehicles to park on-street during construction projects. Permits are issued based on an application process. All requests are reviewed to ensure that safety and access to the local streets is maintained during the construction project. These permits cannot be used for commercial vehicles or a disposal bin.

Permits are available for passenger vehicles only. To request a permit please call Service Oakville at 905-845-6601 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Your permission to park allows the vehicle to park longer than three hours or between the hours of 2 and 6 a.m.(November 15 to April 15). The permit does not allow the vehicle to be parked against any other parking by-laws. The town's parking by-laws and regulations apply to roads in new subdivisions regardless of the road being assumed or unassumed.
