As the province plans for recovery, the town is beginning to slowly bring back services and reopen some public spaces. Provincial emergency orders and the town’s physical distancing by-law remain in effect. We must all continue to follow guidelines from Public Health officials.
The Town of Oakville is installing a new storm sewer on Maplehurst Avenue and surrounding streets. The limits of the new storm sewer are Maplehurst Avenue south of Bridge Road to Rebecca Street and on a portion of Shaw Street and Winston Drive connecting the new Maplehurst Avenue storm sewer. The scope of work includes include the installation of a new storm sewer, installation of catch basins in the ditches, boulevard and ditch grading, top soil and sod restoration. The work also includes a new headwall and inlet structure at the remnant channel south of Bridge Road.
