York Street and Wallace Road Reconstruction

The town will be reconstructing York Street and Wallace Road to a fully urbanized roadway.

Improvements are coming

The town has completed the detailed design for the reconstruction of Wallace Road and York Street and construction is anticipated to begin summer 2024, starting with utility relocations. Road reconstruction following utility relocation is estimated to take approximately six to eight months to complete. Project completion is estimated for 2025.

Traffic on Wallace Road and York Street will remain open during construction but may be reduced to one lane at times in select areas. Access to properties will be maintained at all times during construction.

What to expect

  • Asphalt resurfacing
  • New concrete curb and gutter
  • Driveway restoration
  • Grading and boulevard restoration
