Thursday, December 12, 2019

3171 Lakeshore Road West

Monday, January 13, 2020, at 7 p.m.

You are invited to attend and provide input at this meeting hosted by Planning and Development Council.

Vogue Wycliffe (Oakville) Ltd. seeks approval for a 35-unit residential development, consisting of 27 townhouses and eight semi-detached dwellings.   The proposed development anticipates the extension of Victoria Street from the west, terminating in a cul-de-sac.  The zoning by-law amendment proposes a number of site specific zoning regulations in support of this development.  The plan of subdivision would result in the creation of two blocks to support the residential units.

The subject property is located on the north side of Lakeshore Road West, immediately west of West Street.

At this time there are no other applications, under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended, pertaining to the subject lands.

If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Town of Oakville to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to Council c/o the Town Clerk at the Town of Oakville, Clerk’s department, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON L6H 0H3 or at TownClerk@oakville.ca before the official plan amendment is adopted, the by-law is passed or before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to Council c/o the Town Clerk at the Town of Oakville, Clerk’s department, before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted, before the by-law is passed or in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Town of Oakville on the proposed official plan amendment, on the proposed zoning by-law amendment or in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision, you must make a written request to the Town Clerk at the Town of Oakville, Clerk’s department, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON L6H 0H3 or at TownClerk@oakville.ca

Any submission to the Planning and Development Council, either in hard copy or in electronic format, must be forwarded to the Clerk's department for receipt no later than noon on January 13, 2020, to ensure its availability to the Members of Council at the meeting. Individuals making oral submissions at the public meeting are requested to submit a written outline of the submission to the Town Clerk.  All submissions should include the full name and address of the presenter.
