Advisory Committees and Boards

Council draws on the expertise of citizen volunteer members of advisory committees and boards to provide input on matters within the town.

Council invites you to volunteer your time and experience to participate on advisory committees and boards. All Oakville residents are encouraged to get involved promoting and strengthening the sense of community, diversity and multiculturalism.

Who is eligible?

Oakville property owners and/or residents, 18 years of age or older are invited to apply.

  • Number of citizen positions: up to 10
  • Note: The terms of reference states that members must be Oakville residents and/or registered interment rights holders for lots at Town of Oakville Cemeteries
  • Meeting time: Preference is daytime meetings, but there is flexibility.
