An exhibition entitled Hong Kong: Asia’s World City from the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Toronto) (HKETO) is at Oakville Town Hall this week. This roving exhibition will be featured in different cities across Canada this year and showcases the achievements of Hong Kong in areas such as economic development, innovation and technology, transport and infrastructure, and arts and culture, as well as the beauty of its natural environment.
“Oakville is pleased to host this national Hong Kong exhibition,” said Mayor Rob Burton. “It provides our residents a glimpse into a city that is a huge draw for international visitors and offers our businesses information about opportunities to expand their market reach.”
The town’s Economic Development Strategy supports international business development. This initiative furthers Oakville’s efforts to build relationships with China and explore international economic development opportunities.
Oakville residents and businesses are invited to view the exhibition at Town Hall, located at 1225 Trafalgar Road, until August 3.
