The Corporation of the Town of Oakville is committed to ensuring accountable and transparent election practices through the systematic application of procedures during a municipal election, relating to the use of Corporate resources, election recounts, Council vacancies and other applicable election related matters.
This policy will provide for the introduction of procedures to ensure transparent and equitable services are provided relating to municipal elections.
This policy applies to the public, town employees, Members of Council and registered candidates.
