The Corporation of the Town of Oakville (town) is committed to supporting employee professional development through job related or corporate related educational courses, conferences and seminars. Educational assistance for employee professional development is subject to budgetary limitations and in accordance with established procedures.
This policy supports employee pursuit of educational opportunities and professional development, for the purpose of enhancing current job performance, or improving opportunities for advancement within the town.
This policy applies to all permanent full-time employees of the town with the exception of employees on probation.
