The Town of Oakville has a condolence book available at the ServiceOakville counter in the Town Hall front foyer for people to offer their thoughts and express their sympathy in memory of Councillor Max Khan, who passed away yesterday.
"Councillor Khan was a tireless tiger defending Oakville’s residents — we’ve lost a people’s champion,” said Mayor Rob Burton. "His absence will be deeply felt within the community of Oakville. He will be remembered for his positive uplifting attitude, his strength of character and his dedication to public service."
Due to the upcoming long weekend, the condolence book will be available until Thursday until 10 p.m. and again on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 when Town Hall reopens.
