Mayor Rob Burton will deliver his annual Town Status Report address on Monday, October 17, 2016, in Council Chambers beginning at 7 p.m. The 2016 address will review some of the key accomplishments of the past year, and reflect on the town’s evolution since the first Town Status Report address in 2007.
“Over the past ten years we have seen Oakville move closer and closer to our vision of becoming the most livable town in Canada,” Mayor Rob Burton said. “I am pleased to highlight some of our key accomplishments for this year, and discuss key opportunities for the future.”
The Mayor will address the livable Oakville vision, and how the town and Council have worked to maintain healthy finances, control growth, protect Oakville’s natural heritage and provide high-quality services to residents.
Residents are encouraged to attend the October 17, 2016 Council meeting in Council Chambers to hear the address first-hand, or tune in on the Town of Oakville's YouTube livestream.
