Do you know what to do if you encounter a coyote in your neighbourhood? The Town of Oakville is holding a coyote information night on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 7–8:30 p.m. at Queen Elizabeth Community and Cultural Centre on Bridge Road.
Julia Pietrus from the Toronto Wildlife Centre and Laura Mackasey from the Oakville and Milton Humane Society will join town staff to share information on how to peacefully coexist with our local wildlife. Residents will learn what to do if you encounter a coyote and how to discourage them from visiting your yard. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions.
