The town is in the Red-Control level under the new provincial COVID-19 Response Framework: Keeping Ontario Safe and Open. Provincial orders remain in effect and we must all follow public health guidelines.

Dr. Natalia Lishchyna was officially sworn in as the new Ward 6 Councillor at the Town of Oakville’s Council meeting on July 20, 2015.
“On behalf of the Town of Oakville and Members of Council, I would like to congratulate Dr. Natalia Lishchyna on her recent success in the Ward 6 By-Election,” Mayor Rob Burton said. “All Members of Council look forward to working with her.”
Councillor Lishchyna was elected on July 13, 2015, during the Municipal Ward 6 By-election. Results were officially certified by the Town Clerk on July 16, 2015.
At the meeting, Councillor Lishchyna was also appointed to the Administrative Services Committee until November 30, 2015.
