Mark your calendars hockey fans! The Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour visits Oakville on November 25 and 26 with a fun-filled hockey celebration showcasing Oakville’s love of the game.

“Along with the rest of Council, I’m looking forward to what will no doubt be a weekend full of entertainment for hockey fans of all ages,” said Oakville Mayor Rob Burton. “What a great opportunity to showcase our community’s heritage, hockey history and unique stories with the rest of the Canada.”

As one of 24 Canadian communities chosen as a stop for The Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour, Oakville will host a two-day outdoor hockey festival featuring local celebrities, NHL alumni, free activities, games, interactive experiences and live entertainment for all ages. The festival will end with an outdoor viewing party on Sunday where Ron MacLean and co-host Tara Slone will broadcast live from the Sportsnet™ Mobile Studio while the Vancouver Canucks take on the New York Rangers.
